Fans spot water bottles accidentally left in 'Game of Thrones' series finale

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from season 8 of “Game of Thrones.”

It was a song of... coffee and water bottles?

Plastic water bottles were spotted in the series finale of HBO's “Game of Thrones,” just weeks after a rogue coffee cup accidentally made it into a scene and Jaime Lannister's hand grew back in a promotional image.

In the very last episode, titled “The Iron Throne,” eagle-eyed viewers noticed a plastic water bottle sitting behind the legs of Samwell Tarly, played by John Bradley, as well as another bottle tucked behind a chair next to Ser Davos Seaworth, played by Liam Cunningham.

The rogue water bottles were apparently spotted during a scene in which the leaders of Westeros discuss who should become the next ruler.

The bottles appear around the 46-minute mark, according to Fox News.

The hit HBO series can't seem to catch a break. Earlier in the season, fans spotted a modern coffee cup sitting in front of Daenerys Targaryen during a celebration at Winterfell in episode 4 titled “The Last of the Starks.”

HBO later admitted the cup placement was a mistake. The “Game of Thrones” Twitter account even poked fun at the scene, saying Daenerys actually meant to order an herbal tea.

Some keen observers later noticed that in a promotional image for episode 5, Jaime appeared to have grown his severed hand back as he embraced Cersei in what looks like a shot from their final scene.

The record-breaking HBO series ended Sunday after eight seasons with Brandon Stark as protector of the realm.

The penultimate episode of the final season, titled “The Bells,” drew 18.4 million viewers across HBO's platforms. Overall, HBO said season 8 was averaging 43 million viewers per episode, an increase of more than 10 million viewers when compared to season 7.
