Dozens in Line For Lassiter Chick-fil-A Grand Opening on Wednesday

Dozens of people are lined up at the new Chick-fil-A opening in Marietta this week.

The "First 100" is a signature grand opening event for the popular fast-food chain. It has given away more than $25 million in free food since it began and for 24-hours the restaurant parking lot is transformed into a community party as fans await the grand opening! That is what's taking place currently in East Cobb.

The new Lassiter Chick-fil-A brings the chance for 100 adults to win free meals for one year. It also brings 80 new jobs and the chance for community members to donate books that will benefit Mountain View Elementary School.

Doors will officially open at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The restaurant is located in front of the Target shopping center at the corner of Shallowford Road and Sandy Plains Road.

Like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, the new Marietta location will be closed on Sundays.
