Douglasville Police mourn the loss of K-9 officer
Douglasville, GA - The Douglasville Police K-9 unit is mourning the loss of their beloved K-9 Officer, Recon. Recon lost his battle with cancer after seven years of serving the community.
Recon was trained in both patrol functions as well as narcotics detection.
On Facebook the unit announced the news with a heartfelt message for Recon, "K-9 Recon will always be remembered as a loyal and faithful partner. We are thankful for his service to our community and will not forget
him."
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Douglasville Police Department.
