ATLANTA - The Atlanta Police Department is asking the public for help in their investigation into an armed robbery at a gas station last week.
Officials say the robbery happened on the night of Jan. 29 at the Citgo station on the 2600 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.
What we know:
The victim told investigators that he was pumping gas at the business when a man approached him from behind.
The suspect pulled out a gun, demanded his belongings, and punched him in the face before taking his wallet, the victim said.
After the robbery, the suspect fled on foot.
The victim described his assailant as a Black man who was wearing a green camouflage jacket or hoodie, blue pants, and black sneakers.
