Deputies: Teen mother drowns infant son in bathtub
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - An infant is dead after police say his 19-year-old mother drowned him in a bathtub after he wouldn't stop crying.
Speaking with WGXA, Houston County Sheriff's Office Captain Randall Banks said the incident happened at a safe house in Warner Robins last Friday.
Banks said that Madison Lee Stewart went to the bathroom to get the boy to stop crying. She then filled the tub with water and placed the child under until he died.
WGXA reported that Stewart will be charged with malice murder.
According to investigators, Stewart felt "stressed" and had some "anger issues."
