Deputies search for serial armed robber

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Clayton County deputies are searching for the man behind a string of armed robberies.

Authorities said released images of the man deputies believe held up the Family Dollar on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro over the weekend.

Investigators said he pulled a handgun, ordered the clerks empty the cash registers, and then drove off in a silver or white Dodge Avenger.

Investigators believe the same man is also responsible for armed robberies in Clayton County, Riverdale, and Atlanta.
