Deputies investigate armed robbery at Forsyth County fast food restaurant
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies in Forsyth County are investigating a reported takeover-style robbery at a fast food restaurant.
It happened at the McDonalds on Keith Bridge Road around 5 a.m. Saturday. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office says an armed man demanded money and ordered the employees into a cooler room. Those employees were able to safely flee the store and flag down a deputy at a nearby business.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video from nearby businesses to try to get a description of the suspect.
The suspect was dressed all in black and armed with a handgun. He is believed to have been picked up by someone in a vehicle just after the robbery.
No one was injured during the armed robbery.
