Deputies: customer finds cell phone camera in McDonald's restroom stall
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating a ‘Peeping Tom’ case at a McDonald’s in Suwanee.
A woman said she found a cell phone with its camera pointed towards her inside stall at the store on Peachtree Parkway on October 25.
According to the incident report obtained by FOX 5 News, the customer told an assistant manager about the discovery. That supervisor, in turn, cleared the restroom for use, according to the responding deputy.
However, a maintenance worker walked inside the area anyway and reached up to the vent, flipped over the phone and walked out, according to the authorities.
The responding deputy interviewed the worker. He said the man denied owning the phone but admitted to noticing it earlier in the day. That deputy added the worker did not explain why he failed to notify someone about the device.
