Deputies: 16 arrests in operation 'Birds of Prey'
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Multiple police departments worked together on an operation that ended with 16 arrests.
Forest Park Police Department, Riverdale Police Department, and Clayton County Police Department worked with the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office to perform Operation “Birds of Prey”.
Officials said two of the arrests during the operation were noteworthy.
Sandrick Antonio Dozier was charged with his warrant for burglary, false imprisonment and obstruction of an officer after Dozier refused to open an apartment door, officials said. Officials said once deputies kicked in the door, officers found a second person in the apartment. Officials said Dozier kept her from letting the deputies in.
Officials also said Keenan Renard Adams was charged with felony violation of probation and obstruction of an officer. Officials said Adams attempted to elude officials by jumping from a second story window.
Officials said both suspects along with the other 14 were booked into the Clayton County Jail.
