Columbus police investigate shooting death of man, 27
COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) — Authorities in Columbus are investigating the shooting death of a 27-year-old man.
Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton tells The Ledger-Enquirer (http://bit.ly/2fr9wvz) Nikco Slaughter was pronounced dead of multiple gunshot wounds at 3:18 a.m. Monday at the Columbus Midtown Medical Center.
His body will be sent off to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy.
There was no immediate information on a motive or suspects in the case.
