College football fans help CHOA patients
ATLANTA - The start of college football is just around the corner and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, along with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, are doing something big.
They are hosting Touchdowns for Children's a program that will give college football fans the opportunity to support their favorite team while benefiting the hospital.
This is the program's second year.
Organizers said they raised $144,000 last year which then turned into $288,000, which the money matched from the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
