A Catholic church in Marietta could be the scene of a Christmas miracle.

Following a celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Dec. 12, members of Transfiguration Catholic Church watched, what some believe, an image of the Virgin Mary appear on its social hall window.

Transfiguration's priest, Father Fernando Molina-Restrepo told FOX 5 Atlanta his church and surrounding community has been abuzz. He said an investigation authenticating the possible miracle has not begun.

"I hope this is an invitation from our Blessed Mother, if this is our Blessed Mother, to re-connect and come back to the church," said Molina-Restrepo.
