CHOA patient ready for pre-k one year after getting new liver
ATLANTA - Children's Healthcare of Atlanta shared an inspiring picture on Facebook on Sunday of a little girl doing well one year after receiving a new liver.
CHOA said one year ago, patient Emalynn suddenly went into acute liver failure.
"One year later, and thanks to the gift of life through a liver transplant, she's gearing up to start pre-k later this year."
The picture has more than 5,800 likes as of Monday morning.
