Cars vandalized in Inman Park

ATLANTA - Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department are looking into a rash of car vandalism that happened Thursday night in Inman Park.

Authorities said 12 cars were hit by vandals, who smashed out windows, but stole nothing.

Investigators said the crimes likely happened between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Several cars of the cars vandalized were parked on Montag Circle, while several others were parked in the visitor spaces of a nearby parking deck.

Authorities said witnesses told them three black males were spotted fleeing the area in a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee. Anyone with information is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department.
