CAREFORCE: How to donate to the Red Cross for Florence relief

ATLANTA - FOX 5 Atlanta along with Publix and the American Red Cross have activated the CAREFORCE to help those impacted by Hurricane Florence in their time of need.

All Atlanta-area Publix stores will be collecting donations at their checkouts with 100 percent of the donations going to American Red Cross in support of Hurricane Florence relief efforts.

To jump-start efforts, Publix donated $250,000 Friday to the American Red Cross and United Way to help recovery efforts.

The CAREFORCE partners thank all those who consider donating to help our friends and neighbors in the Carolinas hit hard by Hurricane Florence.
