Candidates visit Georgia ahead of Tuesday's primary

ATLANTA - Super Tuesday is tomorrow and candidates of both parties have been making their way through the state of Georgia for last-minute campaigning.

Georgia is holding its primaries on March 1 along with Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia. The state has the second highest number of delegates at stake for both parties, behind Texas.

Monday, Republican front runner Donald Trump will hold a rally at Valdosta State University. Events start around 4 p.m. at VSU's P.E. Complex at 401 Baytree Road. Earlier this month, he held an event at the Georgia World Congress Center. 

At a weekend rally in Kennesaw Marco Rubio continued his attacks on Trump. Five thousand people showed up to hear the Florida senator say he'll do whatever it takes to keep Trump from winning the Republican presidential nomination. Trump and Rubio have been at war with each other since late last week. 

Texas Senator Ted Cruz spoke to hundreds on Saturday at Liberty Plaza, near the State Capitol. 

Sunday night, Dr. Ben Carson packed 1,100 into a church in Milner during which he vowed to stay in the race, no matter the Super Tuesday results. 

Last week, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton traveled to Atlanta on Friday and held a rally at City Hall.
