Customers who visit a Build-A-Bear Workshop on Thursday are able to pay their current age for any furry friend available in the store, and the promotion is causing major crowds.

FOX 5 viewers have been sharing photos and videos of long lines from a number of metro Atlanta malls. People are lined up around the movie theater, waiting to go inside at Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville.

SYKFOX 5 flew over the mall shortly before noon Thursday.

In Cobb County, there are dozens of folks lined up inside Town Center Mall. Christe Kennedy told FOX 5 she was waiting in line but decided it was too long for her toddler to make it through.

"I heard they were handing out vouchers afterward, but importunately I didn't get one," Kennedy said.

Vouchers are also being handed out at the Mall of Georgia in Buford, where FOX 5 viewer Jennifer Fussell told us people are being turned. She was one of the many given a $15 off voucher.

For the promotion, a customer's age determines exactly how much they pay for any stuffed animal inside stores. Build-A-Bear says to take advantage of this deal, customers need to be a "Bonus Club" member. Registration for this is free and can be completed online or in-store.

Pay Your Age Day is for Thursday, July 12, only.

Adults who are wanting to take part in this deal don't need to worry, as customers will pay no more than $29 for a bear.
