(STORYFUL and FOX 5 Atlanta) A bride from Clarkesville, Tennessee, has some wedding photos to remember after she was captured rushing to the scene of a car accident in her wedding dress.

Sarah Ray, a trained paramedic for Montgomery County, didn’t hesitate to go to the aid of her family when they were involved in an accident on the day of her nuptials, October 3. Her 72-year-old grandmother was inside the vehicle headed to the reception.

"I'm sure we were a sight on the side of the road with people driving by," said Ray. "I went in there to check up on and see how she was doing and she was upset that she had ruined my day and I told her that it wasn't her fault."

Ray’s mother Marcy Martin is credited for taking the photo, which was posted to Facebook on the verified page for Montgomery County. They said, “Now that’s dedication!”

The crash happened just two miles away from the church. Ray's family said a driver running a red light slammed into their vehicle. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.

"I don't know if what I did was special," Ray said. "I was making sure my grandma was ok and I just happened to be in a wedding dress."
