A 12-year-old boy accidentally punched a hole through a 350-year-old painting at a Taiwan art exhibit.
An emergency restoration crew was working Tuesday to salvage the painting.
The 17th century oil on canvas painting is called "The Flower," but now there's a fist-sized hole in the lower right corner.
Video shows the boy tripped and his arm extended and fell into the canvas. The incident happened while on a guided tour with his mom.
The painting was on loan from a private collector and is estimated to be worth $1 million.
The boy’s family will not have to pay to repair the work of art because the painting is insured.
