Booting ban fails to pass on Crossover Day

Crossover Day was Friday and one of the biggest bills had to do with parking.

The hotly debated HB 469, which proposed a virtual booting ban, didn't cross over as the Georgia House adjourned Thursday night.

The bill would bar the practice on private property, but allowed towing, and limited booting of vehicles that could not be moved.

Fines would be regulated, according to the proposal.
