Blue Bell Ice Cream Returns to Metro Atlanta on Friday

ATLANTA - "TGIF" has a whole new meaning this week, thanks to the long awaited return of Blue Bell Ice Cream in Atlanta. 

The beloved brand will return to Atlanta Kroger shelves on Friday, January 22. According to Blue Bell, customers will be able to purchase their favorite flavors. 

Friday's available flavors will include: Buttered Pecan, Cookies 'n Cream, Dutch Chocolate, Homemade Vanilla, Natural Vanilla Bean, Pistachio Almond and The Great Divide. (Fun fact: the most popular flavor of ice cream is vanilla followed by chocolate) 

A variety of new flavors will also be available in the weeks ahead. 

“Blue Bell is one of Kroger’s top-selling ice cream brands, and we’re thrilled to have them back on the shelves,” said Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. 

Blue Bell is also returning to Kroger shelves in middle Georgia.
