BANKS COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Kacey Reynolds spent most of his senior year in and out of the hospital. He missed out on activities with his high school band and classmates while battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He has faced numerous rounds of treatment including chemotherapy and stem cell therapy.
More than a year ago, volunteers with Make-A-Wish Georgia contacted Kacey about an activity or wish to offer him some joy during his cancer battle. He indicated his love for the NFL and especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When it finally came time to make his wish come true, there was no better setting than his beloved high school. Kacey was told he would be visiting the school to hear the band practice for an upcoming show. As he entered the auditorium, the band began to roar the school fight song. Shortly after, a screen lowered with a video of NFL.
