A baby is recovering at the hospital after being shot while getting fed by his mother.

The infant is one of four injured in a shooting that happened Tuesday night at a DeKalb County apartment complex.

Police said the 4-month-old was in his mother's arms in an upstairs unit at the Wind Rush complex off of Kennsington Road.

Investigators said three people, including a man and woman, were in an adjacent unit when a gun went off, striking them both. One of them was hit in the leg.

Police said the bullet then went through the wall and into the child's back. All three were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The man and woman are being treated at Grady and the baby at Egleston.

Police haven't said what led up to the shooting or who pulled the trigger, but investigators told us they aren't looking for a possible gunman who is on the loose.
