Authorities capture fugitive in Forsyth County
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A man who fled from a deputy after a traffic stop early this morning in Forsyth County has been captured, authorities said Wednesday.
Forsyth County deputies said three men fled on foot after they were pulled over on McGinnis Ferry Road. Two of the men were quickly apprehended, but the third was on the run until he was captured around noon in Johns Creek.
Authorities said guns and drugs were found in the car.
The fugitive, who was not immediately identified, has an extensive criminal history, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
