Atlanta's annual Dogwood Festival underway in Piedmont Park
ATLANTA - One of the largest festivals of the year kicked off Friday in metro Atlanta.
The 81st annual Dogwood Festival takes place at Piedmont Park every year. The three-day event is one of the longest-running festivals in Atlanta, which draws more than 200,000 people to the park.
The festival includes everything from live music, gourmet food, a 5K race and lots more.
The Dogwood Festival, which is FREE to attend, kicked off Friday at noon.
Hours: Friday: 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. & Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
