Atlanta police said they have stepped up patrols around clubs, restaurants community centers, and places of worship following the worst deadly mass shooting in U.S. history.

Police said there are no credible threats to the metro Atlanta area following the domestic terrorist attack at a popular Orlando nightclub, but they are working with federal agencies to monitor any possible changes.

Authorities said there will be a bigger police presence around vigils for the Orlando shooting victims as a precaution.
