Atlanta police are searching for a serial robber targeting businesses, particularly GameStop stores.

Investigators held a news conference Friday afternoon and discussed the recent robberies. According to police, the suspect has robbed multiple locations in the same day in the metro Atlanta area.

Police said the suspect has worn the same attire in every robbery, which includes a straw hat and black sweatshirt with white stripes on it.

The robber normally walks into GameStop stores, pretending to be a customer, according to police. He then asks for a certain video and that's when he usually whips out a weapon.

Police called the man "brazen" and said he appears to make an effort to look into the camera whenever he enters a store.

"He's aware that we're particularly monitoring him," Atlanta police said on Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department. A $2,000 reward is being offered for any details that can lead to an arrest.
