Atlanta Police investigate gas station shooting
ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot at a gas station Sunday in southwest Atlanta.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. at a Shell gas station in the 3100 block of Campbellton Road.
Officers on the scene told FOX 5 multiple shell casings were in the parking lot. The store clerk called 911, according to police.
Witnesses told police that two men were seen leaving the scene in a burgundy vehicle.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his victim's left hip and groin. He was alert when medics rushed him to Grady Memorial Hospital, according to officers.
Investigators found a .380 cal firearm near the victim as well as at least four shells.
Store surveillance cameras were not working at the time of the incident.
