Atlanta Police chief 'proud and relieved' following Super Bowl
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Law enforcement agencies in Atlanta are letting out a collective sigh of relief Monday following Super Bowl LIII.
Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields said she is “proud and relieved” now that the big game is over.
The chief said in her post-game briefing on security that her team put in a lot of work and it paid off.
The chief also said she is so thankful for the various local, state, and federal partners for the work they put in to help pull it all off.
