ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta Police arrested three teens for breaking into seven cars on the 300 block of Stovall Street in southeast Atlanta Thursday.
A resident at the apartment complex called 911 around 1 a.m. after spotting a group of teens breaking into cars inside the complex parking garage. When police arrived, they were able to trap the thieves’ cars inside the parking garage by blocking the exit to the parking garage.
Officers located three teen males hiding inside two cars. The Atlanta Police Department said the two cars were stolen from Gwinnett County.
A fourth teen male suspect did escape, and police are currently searching for him.
Police said items were stolen from the seven cars, but officers were able to recover the items.
