Teen found shot in the back in Atlanta apartment parking lot

ATLANTA - A 17-year-old is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the back Sunday night on the west side of Atlanta. 

Atlanta police said he was found in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Kimberly Way SW. He was alert, conscious and breathing when he was sent to Grady Memorial Hospital.
