Atlanta History Center unveils new children’s experience

The Atlanta History Center is ushering in 2025 with a big new attraction — and it’s aimed squarely at the center’s youngest visitors.

The Atlanta History Center (130 West Paces Ferry Road NW) just unveiled the new Goizueta Children’s Experience, a 5,000 square-foot educational playground designed specifically for kids in the second grade and younger. Essentially a mini-museum inside the center, the Goizueta Children’s Experience is described by organization leaders as "immersive and multi-sensory," and will feature a fresh theme each year.

The experience’s theme for 2025 is "Our Great Big City," which means elements inside are inspired by Atlanta landmarks like The Fox Theatre and The Varsity. There’s also an entire Tiny Toddler Town, allowing kids to crawl and climb through the city’s various neighborhoods.

Tickets to the center are $27 for adults and $24 for younths, and the new experience is included with the price of admission — click here to purchase tickets.
