ATLANTA - Atlanta firefighters put out a fire at an apartment complex located at 500 McDaniel Street SW Saturday night.

What we know:

Firefighters reported seeing heavy smoke and fire coming from the three-story apartment complex. Residents were evacuated shortly after.

Nine units in total were impacted, according to Assistant Chief Greg Gray with Atlanta Fire and Rescue.

Luckily, there have been no reported injuries, necessary rescues or fatalities.
