Arrest made in double shooting at DeKalb County motel

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police have made an arrested in a double shooting a DeKalb County motel Thursday afternoon.

DeKalb County Police say 26-year-old Korinji William-Smith shot a man and a woman at the Scottish Inn Motel on Wesley Chapel Road around 4 p.m. Both were rushed to the hospital, but their conditions have not been released.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene shortly after the shooting and found police swarming the motel complex.

William-Smith was charged with two counts of assault.

Police believe the shooting followed some sort of altercation, but the circumstances were not immediately known.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
