LOS ANGELES, CA (FOX 11) - Actress Sandra Bullock comes to the rescue of animals affected by the wildfires.
She has donated $100,000 to the humane society to help rescue and care for the evacuated animals.
In a Facebook post the non-profit organization said Bullock hoped "Others will choose to do the same."
The Humane Society of Ventura County, California (HSVC), announced on Sunday that it was “deeply humbled” by a $100,000 donation that came from the Oscar winner and her family.
This isn't the first time Bullock has used her super-star status to help people in need. Over the years she's donated millions to charity.
