Accident knocks out power for Atlanta Municipal Court

ATLANTA - A power outage forced the Atlanta Municipal Court to close for the day on Thursday.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the cause of the problem which was a downed power pole near the intersection of Ted Turner Drive SW and Whitehall Street SW.

Police said a box truck hit the pole, sending it crashing down.

No one was injured but the crash knocked out power,

Court officials evacuated the municipal court and postponed all scheduled hearings and court activities.
