2017 Black Friday deals announced early

After you get your packages home, look through deeper discounts through rebates.

A number of online deals have been released ahead of Black Friday.

Walmart is beginning some online deals Thursday and plans to offer most of its Black Friday deals online starting at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thanksgiving. Stores will be open all day on Thanksgiving with the deals available there at 6 p.m. local time Walmart is adding a color-coded map of store departments on its circulars in hopes of making it easier for customers to find items.

Retailers are trying to strike a balance between online and in-store deals as shoppers use both.

Target also plans to offer Black Friday deals online starting Thanksgiving morning, but its stores won't open until 6 p.m. Best Buy stores will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving and stay open until 1 a.m. Friday.

Amazon launched its own countdown to Black Friday as soon as Halloween was over. Amazon promises specials every day through November 24, leading up to Black Friday. There will also be “Deal of the Day” bargains.

By the way, Amazon said that Black Friday this year isn’t just a day, it’ll be a whole week. So will Cyber Monday.

“We'll be kicking off Cyber Monday with a week's worth of cyber deals, just in time for you to get back to work after Thanksgiving ... and shop online. Shhh ... we won't tell your boss!,” according to Amazon’s website.
