Wahoo! New attraction brings racing to Six Flags White Water

This summer is going to be hotter than ever, thanks to a new attraction at Six Flags White Water that’s sure to result in some heated competition among visitors.

Wahoo Racer, which officially opened May 21, features a half-dozen unique slides on which guests can race against each other.  The attraction stands 60 feet tall, and racers slide on aerodynamic toboggans (facing head-first and stomach-down toward the finish) which can reach speeds of up to 40 feet per second.  After twisting through brightly-colored tubes, racers will be ejected into individual racing lanes – until one crosses the finish line first.  Wahoo Racer replaces 100 Meter Splash, and joins more than 50 other sides and attractions at the Marietta water park.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning trying out Wahoo Racer – and battling it out against some of his newest "frenemies!"
