Kevin Gillespie is one of the biggest names in the Atlanta food scene – and with Revival, the “top chef” is keeping the traditional taste of the South alive.

Revival is located inside an early-1900s Decatur home, which has been restored to replicate the feel of a cozy, comfortable Southern living space.  Executive Chef Andreas Muller heads up the kitchen, which serves traditional Southern fare like fried chicken, chicken casserole, and cornmeal-fried catfish.  This weekend, Muller will bring a taste of Decatur to Georgia’s beautiful Jekyll Island, for the first-ever Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife – W3,  taking place Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24.  The event is a fundraiser for the Jekyll Island Foundation, a non-profit created in 1999 to help conservation, education, and preservation on Jekyll Island.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent some time in Jekyll Island last year, and couldn’t wait to learn more about this weekend’s big event.  He spent the morning at Revival in Decatur, getting a preview of what chef Andreas Muller is taking with him!
