Recording artist Tauren Wells brings positivity to Atlanta

He's spending the summer onstage with music legends Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey, spreading a message of faith and positivity with his smooth vocals and infectious music. And during a recent stop in Atlanta, recording artist Tauren Wells thrilled the crowd at Duluth's Infinite Energy Arena with songs from his debut solo album, Hills and Valleys.

After spending several years with the Grammy-nominated group Royal Tailor, Wells struck out on his own in 2015.  His first full-length album is already a hit, with the title track peaking in the Top 5 of Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart and the album topping out in the Top 5 of Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart.  Wells says he'd like his music to serve as a "soundtrack for hope," and that Hills And Valleys traces the ups and down of his own life.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken sat down with Wells to chat about his new music, and about the incredible experience opening on this summer's All The Hits Tour with Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey.
