ATLANTA - You’ve heard him sing, and you’ve watched him in big-budget box office hits. Now, Grammy-winner Harry Connick, Jr. is taking on a new project – and it’s coming to FOX 5 Atlanta this fall.
Connick will host “Harry,” a daytime entertainment show set to premiere in September. In an interview with our Paul Milliken, Connick says he’s been bouncing around the idea of a show for nearly 20 years, but waited for the right team and right idea to finally do it. Connick says the show will be a new kind of daytime program, combining celebrity guests, interviews, music, man-on-the-street segments, and more. The musician says his own Southern sensibility (he was raised in New Orleans) makes the show a perfect fit for audiences in Atlanta.
