More thrills at Georgia's most popular state park
DAWSONVILLE, Ga. - The views at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge are already spectacular – but now, prepare for an even more thrilling way to see Georgia’s most visited state park.
The Level Two Zip Line Canopy Tour and Aerial Adventure Park is now open at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge, adding seven ziplines to the park’s adventure attraction. The course was built by American Adventure Park Systems (the team behind the record-breaking Historic Banning Mills in Carroll County) and also adds a trio of skybridges to the course. That means the Zip Line Canopy Tour and Aerial Adventure Park now boasts a total of 17 ziplines, the longest of which is 2,000 feet and takes brave flyers 250 feet above the ground.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken never turns down a chance to do some ziplining on live television and spent the morning at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge trying out this exciting new addition.
