Middle school jazz musicians give back through music

They're some of the finest young musicians in North Georgia.  And with their new CD, the Inman Jazz All-Stars are proving they're fine young human beings, too.

The Inman Middle School students, under the direction of Ms. Arneesa Woods, recently released All Of Us, a collection of six classic jazz songs.  The idea for the CD came about when student Jay Hammond played at an event for Citizen Advocacy, an organization dedicated to integrating those with developmental disabilities into the community.

Hammond's father John is a board member for Citizen Advocacy, and he and Jay came up with the idea to record a CD to benefit the agency.  The result is All Of Us -- which is on-sale now and benefits both Citizen Advocacy and Inman Middle School's Jazz Band Program.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken recently stopped by the school, and chatted with those who made this dream project a reality.
