Some retailers are celebrating by serving up discounts and freebies.
All Circle K locations are selling hot dogs on July 17 for just 50 cents.
At Sonic, you can drop in for a chili cheese coney or all-American hot dog for $1. You'll need to download the Sonic app for the deal and then enter promo code "DOGS."
