Horror greats headline annual Atlanta monster convention

From Bond girls to TV detectives to victims of Freddy Krueger — this year’s Atlanta Monsterama is bringing a “killer” lineup of celebrity guests to Metro Atlanta.

This year’s Monsterama is taking place from Friday, October 5th through Sunday, October 7th at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta.  The annual convention was founded in 2014, and celebrates the best in classic horror and science fiction, attracting fans of vintage monster movies, television shows, and literature for a weekend of screenings, panels, memorabilia-shopping, and celebrity guests.  This year’s celeb lineup includes actress Luciana Paluzzi — known to James Bond fans as assassin Fiona Volpe in Thunderball — and “Lost In Space” actor Mark Goddard.

The guest list also includes comic book illustrator Georges Jeanty, film director Sam Irvin, author Dacre Stoker, and Stockbridge native Ken Sagoes, who met an unfortunate end at the glove of Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken is a total monster kid, having group up watching Dracula, Frankenstein, and more.  So he couldn’t wait to spend the morning at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta, getting a preview of this year’s Monsterama!
