PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - You submitted your nominations for Georgia's most exceptional high school teachers, and we narrowed down the list to five very deserving finalists. Now, it's time to meet the educators in the running for this year's HIGH 5 For Teachers contest.
FOX 5 is proud to once again partner with Montlick & Associates for the annual contest, which recognizes Georgia high school teachers. Each of the five finalists wins $500 from Montlick & Associates, and viewers will vote for the one they think is most deserving of an additional $2,500 for his or her school.
Voting begins once our profiles of all five teachers have aired on Good Day Atlanta. So be sure to watch each one, and then vote for your favorite!
Our third finalist is Rebekah Jordan of South Paulding High School, who got into teaching to help make students with special needs reach their full potential.
