If you have a child in high school, they are going to love this story!
Harvard and Oxford researchers said high school shouldn't start until AFTER 10:00 a.m. Their recommendation is based on studies that find children who don't get enough sleep don't succeed at school.
Studies show there is a correlation between later start times and improved attendance and test scores. Researchers also say elementary school children should not start school before 8:30 in the morning.
