MARIETTA, Ga. - We first met Glamour in 2013, when the Atlanta girl-group appeared on FOX’s “The X Factor” and got a rave review from Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland. Since then, the group has been working hard to perfect its craft, and now Glamour is poised to take the music business by storm.
Kaylan, Moriah, and Ydal recently signed with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss’s Kandi Koated Entertainment, and just appeared in the music video for superstar Brandy’s latest single, “Beggin & Pleadin.” Glamour is also extremely active on social media, and their videos have gained more than 3,000,000 views on YouTube (with more than a million views of a Beyonce-inspired video posted in early May). All three young ladies are managed by AGI Management Company, under the close guidance of artistic director Natarsha Garcia.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at AGI’s Industry Boot Camp, catching up with Glamour and fellow groups LOUD and Pink Heart! -- and also meeting the young artists hoping to follow them straight to the top.
