Chamblee police arrested Israel Rojas after three teenagers were shot during a quinceañera early Saturday morning. Officers working a nearby traffic stop on Buford Highway heard gunfire and took Rojas into custody following a foot chase. Two 14-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy were wounded in the shooting, with one victim listed in critical condition. Investigators recovered a firearm along the suspect’s flight path and believe the violence stemmed from a fight at the event hall.
