Palmetto Elementary on hard lockdown after shooting near campus

Palmetto Elementary School in Fulton County is currently under a hard lockdown following a shooting that occurred on school grounds Tuesday afternoon. Fulton County Schools officials confirm that the incident took place outside the building and that no students or staff were involved or injured. As a precaution, all students are being relocated to Bear Creek Middle School in Fairburn for the remainder of the day.
